A company in one Chinese city has money to burn, and is using it to make electricity. The power plant in Luoyang, central Henan Province, is burning old and damaged Currency notes instead of coal the first time this has been done in China China's official news agency reported. The plant says one tonne of notes can generate more than 600 kW of electricity, in the Province unused and damaged currency notes can help to generate 1.32 Million KW of Electricity annually which is equal to burning 4000 tons of coal.
